The Robin's Nest - School Time!

I'm so glad to be back for my turn to post a project.

I always look forward to my "turn."
Nothing makes me work as hard as knowing I need to do well and I am my worst critique.

I must say it makes it easier when you love the product and time and time again you will always see me as the one who mentions my love of dew drops. I've loved them since I ever knew they existed.

They are SO versatile. You can use on layouts, cards, altered projects, and much much more!

Well it's August and many schools have started or will be starting soon!
I figured why not go ahead and do a school layout to start off the school year.

I did one of my son in 5th grade, I still need to work back to all the other years since he is going to 6th and I skipped all those years because I wanted to scrap this page.
I used Sakura 3D Crystal Lacquer on this project's title.
It's a great addition to projects as well.

I used a white signo pen to write on the chalkboard the word "READ."
You just need to do it slowly and maybe even go over it a few times but it turns out great.

The title "5th Grade"
I took regular guitar picks that I bought off ebay in bulk (100 for around $5.00 shipped).
Then I put sticker letter/numbers on them.
Then added the lacquer, sorry for the reflection this was when I immediately added it and it hadn't dried yet.

Supplies:
Chalkboard
School Clippies
Apple RN Paper Clips
Apple Die-Cuts
Glitter Letters Paper
Chili Cardstock
Distressed Honeycomb Cardstock
3D Crystal Lacquer
Glitter Red Journaling
Gum Drop Tear Drops
Dew Dew Glue
8 Guitar picks
Sticker Letters
Digi Stamp (chick with look it up wording)
Copic Markers
Distress Ink
White pen
