"Merry Christmas" banner:
Sorry the pictures aren't in just a clear like background.
My son is moving out and I am in the process of moving rooms so it seems my "dead" space is limited at the moment.
But I am so happy with the results of my project.
I realize these aren't your typical Christmas colors but nothing about me anymore is typical.
The older I get, the more I want to be different. :)
I decided to make this banner to go with my ornaments and decorations for my miniature Christmas tree.
I bought the tree since we have been at Disney twice at Christmas time and can't promise there won't be more times ahead. That is one of my favorite times to go.
Supplies:
2 sheets Glitter Vanilla Wedding Cardstock (double-sided)
2 sheets Pink Zebra Glitter Cardstock
Dew Dew Glue (Best ever for Dew Drops!)
Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive (Helmar)
Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge
CTMH Cotton Candy Ribbon (obsolete)
Tim Holtz Distress Ink - worn lipstick
Directions:
1. Cut out banners and alphabet with the cricut cartridge.
(You could make your own banners by making triangles, tracing and cutting them out).
2. Ink the vanilla letters with the worn lipstick.
3. Put the quick dry adhesive on the back of all the letters and put on the banners.
4. Then put the tear drops on dew dew glue and adhere to your letters/banner.
5. Tie all the holes together with ribbon.
You can make these for any type of holidays!
Thank you so much for hopping along!
Make sure you see all the wonderful creations.

I like the banner idea although I'm more of a traditionalist with my color choices. Your design is just darling. It will go nicely strung across my arched living room entry.
