Just Can't Get Enough
My song addiction for the week! :)
Tonight is date night for my husband and I. This will be the first time we've been together anywhere alone at night in at least 2 years!
It's easier now though that the boys are getting older.
They are 17 and 10 so leaving them home alone together while we go out should be just fine.
Taking care of the usual mom and dad duties first.
Need to go buy Erik new swim googles, his broke yesterday during practice.
Then he has swim practice which Dave will take him to.
While they are doing that I will run and get the boys dinner and after they get back from swim practice it's off we go.
We are going here:
We are going to listen to a group called Beetle.
They play Beatles songs so I'm extremely excited.
Not going for drinking, just the music and the adult time.
It's from 7-10pm.
See we are really late nighters. LOL.
But it's nice to finally have a chance to get out together.
He works two jobs, over 60 hours a week.
We've been waiting for a Thursday when he was going to be free and he finally got one.
That is if I can get him away from his project today.
He is an animal nurterer by nature.
He was driving and in the middle of the street this is what he found.
Sorry the picture is blurry. My camera has decided to not have much love for me these days.
He waited hoping the parents would claim it but they didn't.
So he brought it home and is nurturing it.
It's upstairs here in my scraproom, safe away from our cat.
Everytime it chirps he runs upstairs to care for it.
And it seems to have a special chirp when it sees him.
I walk up to it and it does nothing, guess I'm not important or it notices my sense of non-animal nurturing skills.

Hae fun tonight!!
Have a great time on your date. That is so great and important for couples. Love the story of the little bird too. Your hubby sounds like a sweetie. Best of luck with the new baby.
