What A Day!

"A wise girl kisses but doesn't love, listens but doesn't believe, and leaves before she is left."
— Marilyn Monroe

I'm in the mood to use quotes lately. And really want to get through all my favorite Marilyn Monroe ones first.

My day was so long at work. I shouldn't have complained yesterday about it being boring. Boring would've been better than this one at work. My mentor teacher left at noon today because she had some personal business to take care of. The kids came in class from lunch and they were so loud, energetic, rowdy...I could go on and on. They had a food fight today in the cafeteria. This is day 2 of that. They have one planned for tomorrow as well. I'm NOT stepping foot in that cafeteria. And my co-teacher didn't show up so I had no help at all.

Then my next class was just as bad. And I had a child who thinks he is so clever and tries to work his charm to get out of trouble. While I'm trying to explain somethng and obviously mad he decides he needs to come and give me a hug and wouldn't let go. And when he did he gets on one knee and asks me to marry him. Sigh. Of course that had the class laughing.

When the 4:05 bell rang I practically ran out of the building!

Well I got to my car and was VERY shocked at what I saw sitting in my seat.
It was a Macy's bag with a note attached to it. I think I just stood there in shock for about 5 minutes. I read the note which was from my husband. He has never been to the school that I student teach at before and it's at least 40 minutes from our house.
He went to the mall to pick up his apple laptop that needed some work and went into Macy's to buy something because he was busy thinking about me. ::How sweet::

Now for what is in the bag!
And a better picture!

It's a brand new Coach purse! He went and bought it for me and then went out of his way to leave it in my car as a surprise with a note.

I'm still a little shocked. I have been wanting a new one but at the same time not wanting to pay $300 for one. And after some differences we've had lately he said maybe I should just put off getting a purse for a while. I must say I love it and him!
P.S. Still haven't cleaned my table. Waiting until the weekend.
